About Us

‘Ambassadors for the Future’ is a new, innovative project funded by The European Social Fund (ESF) and The Learning and Skills Council (LSC).

‘Ambassadors for the Future’ offers a range of interesting, short, engaging energisers which are aimed at 16 – 19 year olds who are NEET ( Not in Education, Employment or Training) or at risk of becoming NEET.

Once a young person has completed an energiser we work hard to help them find a voluntary placement or a place at college or with another training provider.

The ‘Ambassadors for the Future’ project is working across Lancashire in 3 regions, these are Preston, Chorley and South Ribble, Lancaster and Morecambe and Burnley and Pendle. Each of the energisers will be offered in each of the areas over the next 2 years.

The ‘Ambassadors for the Future’ project is being run through the International School for Communities, Rights and Inclusion at the University of Central Lancashire but we are working with 5 partners who will be delivering the majority of the energisers.
